Synopsis: The documentary web series Monoculture of Energy shows, in four episodes, the impacts of energy projects, from Brazil to Argentina, through four stories: the dispute to explore for oil in the Amazon River estuary, one of the most socio-environmentally sensitive areas on the planet; the impact of fracking (an unconventional gas extraction method) in Argentina and the risks if the technique reaches the Brazilian Northeast; the ecosystems and populations affected by wind farms in Rio Grande do Norte; and, finally, a final episode with reflections on what constitutes fair and clean energy, as told by indigenous, quilombola, riverside, and fishing communities, revealing how the energy transition agenda cannot ignore them. Synopsis: Playing Is a Right (Brincar É Direito) tells the story of the renovation of the playground in Praça do Campo Limpo, on the outskirts of the South Zone of São Paulo, through the mobilization of social entrepreneur Thiago Vinicius. By narrating the processes of transforming the space through collective mobilization, the short film explores how public spaces for play impact a right often ignored by society.
